A health network plays a role in each and every health aspect of a population, either through direct care to patients, community services or proactive interventions in everyday lives. The Vitalité Health Network places you, the patient, at the heart of its objectives. The Beauséjour Zone of the Vitalité Health Network is a health sciences francophone centre of excellence in the Atlantic Provinces with a university component. Excellence is always our goal, whether in direct patient care or in programs designed to encourage responsible individual well-being.
Our work is done in three important areas
Offering quality medical services is the aim of the zone's 2,500 employees, 1,800 of which are health professionals. Approximately 415 volunteers assist them in their efforts. Our services are concentrated in three areas:
Many challenges lie ahead for the Beauséjour Zone of the Vitalité Health Network. They are linked to population growth, population ageing, delivery of new services and, last but not least, multidisciplinary work in physical spaces that are either too small or inappropriate for today’s technology.
We also wish to further develop our partnership network with universities and other health authorities. Finally, we must modernize and complete the range of tertiary services we now offer.
The Beauséjour Zone of the Vitalité Health Network is ready to pursue its dispensation of appropriate medical services in a timely manner and is counting on everyone’s active participation. Training of physicians and health professionals, as well as encouraging medical research, also remain important objectives. But ultimately, the objective is this: help you remain in good health in a timely, professional and human manner.
