Health Professionals

Work in French and be a member of a dynamic team
Renowned for its expertise in community health and specialized care, the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority (BRHA) is a francophone health centre of excellence with a university component. It serves patients from all over New Brunswick and the Atlantic Provinces. BRHA activities are divided into three main components: patient care, teaching and research. At the moment, new challenges are being met on two fronts: development of new infrastructure and new professional partnership networks. Although the BRHA’S main hub is Moncton, its presence is felt everywhere in Acadie. BRHA employees also enjoy a wide variety of cultural, social, economical, educational and sports activities.

We offer a stimulating professional environment

Our activities are centred in three areas: patient care, university education and medical research:

  • Specialized care with state-of-the-art technology and multidisciplinary teams that deliver care with compassion and humanity.
  • Teaching practicums and education linked to medical training for junior university students in cooperation with the Université de Moncton and the Université de Sherbrooke. This component solidified our role as a university teaching hospital.
  • Research activities that allow our medical researchers at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute, the Conceptia Clinic for fertility treatments, the Centre de formation médicale of New Brunswick and the Université de Moncton to participate in tomorrow’s medical discoveries.

Personnel in all medical disciplines work in French

The BRHA’s raison d’être is closely linked to the French language as a vehicle leading to personal and professional development. Every employee in every one of our institutions works in French:
