

The Beauséjour Regional Health Authority Recognizes Excellence in NursingFriday, May 30, 2008To mark National Nursing Week, from May 12th to 18th, the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority conferred its Excellence in Care Awards to nurses and licensed practical nurses who, in the last year, distinguished themselves in nursing care.
The Flambeau Award is chosen by peers to acknowledge the work of a nurse who attains a particularly high level of excellence in her or his field or in the work environment.

The Trampoline Award is granted to a person or a group who implemented an innovative project that reached excellence in nursing care or helped improve the work environment.

The Nursing Department of the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority employs more than 900 nurses and licensed practical nurses who provide quality care that focus on prevention of illnesses and promotion of health, recovery, rehabilitation and support, both in the hospital environment and in the community.
